Default '95 C4 Clutch question

Hello,

Not a Porsche owner, my father is, but as they are on vacation I am keeping his baby company!! Just curious about clutch adjustment / pedal postion that would be normal for this car. Is it typical for the clutch to engage at the top of the pedal? Also is it normal to be able to pull the pedal towards you with your hand and it move (like an 1" or so maybe)?

There is no apparent clutch slipping or anything like that, however it does seem to chatter a little with an easy take-off from a stop. Just figured I'd adjust it if it was out. I am used to the clutch engaging and inch or two off the floor.

TIA for any info you can provide...

Did I ask a stupid question or is this just not known?

Here's a pic that I took after giving her a bath at lunch!
