air cond. hot air blasts help!

Default air cond. hot air blasts help!
88 944s has new comp,drier,and r134 in car,air blows cold but occasionly changes to a hot blast, seems to be a lot of clicking under dash on pass. side

IIRC there is an air flap relay down on the passenger side, or something to that effect, it is related to the AC system. Unfortunetly my knowledge of AC in the 944's is pretty limited.
