Default 86 911 Air Cond

Looking a maybe buying 1986 911 Cab 2; I have been warned that the air conditioners are not worth a crap. I am in Atlanta where it can be 90 degrees and 90 humidity in July.

Any thoughts on the AC?

When working, it is a decent system, but you really need to upgrade the fan blower to put out a little more air volume. Lot of guys are upgrading to newer compressors running 134a with upgrade fans and having a decent system. Here in Kansas, summers are very similar, 90+ degrees and same humidity for 3 months in the summer. R12 is a much colder refrigerant, so if you can find a system that is working with R12, that is best.
