Default camshaft actuator

Hi, I have a 2002 996 with 10,000 miles ( still a new car), the car is now in porsche service replacing the camshaft actuator and lifters. The car is still under warranty and the scan code was p0304 ( misfire in cyl 4). Does anyone know if this is a common problem for a porsche with very low miles or just a rare defect? Thanks for the info

Default RE: camshaft actuator

Misfire in cylinder 4. Did they try replacing the coil pack? I have never heard of needing a new cam actuator and lifters for that issue (or any issue at all really).
