Default Cayenne S, 2004

Did you experience a failure of the soft rubber drive shaft bearing support underneath the
driver arm rest ? Porsche designed the rubber support housing so it is impossible
to remove and replace rubber (as in any normal car with low cost designs and
"primitive" old technology). I was amazed to see that there was a need to replace
the entire drive shaft for $ 1,500. Any one else who experienced this please let me know.
Don't think that if you buy PORSCHE you are sentenced to high cost on any move
you do. This company supposed to charge for their technology and advantage high
Dollar, one expect their designing to be normal.
Thanks
