Default GAS FUMES

HAS ANYONE HAD THS PROBLEM WHEN I DRIVE MY 1984 944 STOP AND GET BACK IN I SMELL GAS FUMES ......
ANY SUGGESTIONS

How about checking for fuel leaks at the rail or lines first. These cars are known for going up in flames.

Make sure there is no leaks. Some cars may leak on a certain angle so when you are going up hill it leaks a bit causing you to smell it but then when you look under, it looks like there is no leak (leaks only when you fill the tank up)
