I am still waiting to take delivery on my 1990 carrera 2, and I am getting a little frustrated. There was a lot of heat blowing into the car when I first drove it, and the seller and I both agreed that it was a damper problem in the heater. This proved to be the case as the dampers were stuck in the open possition. Once this problem was fixed and the heat was not blowing like mad there is still some heat comming from right under the dash by the steering column.

Has anyone ever heard of this, or better yet know what the cause may be? I will not accept delivery until the problem is fixed, and both the seller and I are ready to close the deal.
I can't have a black car in South Texas that is adding more heat to my life!........Thanks
