Default Will 3 weeks in the garage kill the battery?

Hi, I will be going away fora 3weeks vacation, will the battery die? Do you think I need any slow charge devices like the one that Porsche sell. Don't really want to spend money to buy one if I don't have to because this is the longest that I will not drive the car throught out the entire year. I live in Hawaii, so my car will not be grounded in the winter time.

No. Unless there is something wrong with the car or an aftermarket electronic device that draws comparitively strong current (possible but not common).

BTW Where do people from Hawaii go on vacation?

All depends on how old your battery is. It should be fine after 3 weeks, but if it has a weak spot, it will be dead by the time you get back.

Thanks for your input. My car has no aftermarket eledctonic device on it. Everything is from the factory (2006). I will call Porsche dealer and ask the service manager for his advise too, they should know the best.
BTW, I got that a lot "Where do people from Hawaii go on vacation?" Well, for us, this is our home, our work place, so, we need to go away, away from work. Sometimes, my wife and I book a hotel room in Waikiki and stay there for a few days, or fly to the other island, but we did that so many times already. The world is so big, so many to see.
