Just purchased a 2001 911, opinions ?
I bought my black on black 911 coupe, 6spd, aero package, sport seats, white dials, aluminum trim, 18 inch wheels with 12,100 one owner miles. Has a few paint chips on the front and that is it. I payed $43,000 for it in Seattle. Does the price sound high for it ? It drives like a drea but I noticed the oil pressure is at the top of the scale (5) when I get to 3000 rpm's or so. The original owner said it has always run high and this is normal, no sign of a mechanical problem so far as far as oil consumption or engne performance. The oil level is normal.
Is the price of the car ok and oil pressure running on the high end normal ?
Thanks for any help/input

Sounds like you got a good deal.
Oil pressure should come down to 2-3 bar at idle after about 20-30 minutes of driving. It will always be high at upper RPMs.

From a Canadian's perspective you got a good deal. I recently purchased a 99-911 cab from B.C. Canada. I used to have a auto brokerage firm and I have purchased many vehicles from USA. Before I found my 911 I had extensively searched the US for a 99-02 911. You did well my friend especially with very low mileage.

Thanks for your opinion and take on thing!
It has been a fantastic ride so far, although the prices have dropped some more since my purchase date. Hope that slows down a bit....
