Hello, this is my first time on this forum and I have a question about the longevity of a 944. I’m 17, and looking for a decent 4-banger. I have had my eye on an ’85 944 with 47.000 miles on it. I worked for the owner of this car about 2 years ago. Last summer he put $600 into the clutch and hasn’t driven it much since. He is willing to part with the car for $1,500. Again, I just want to know the average life span of this type of car.
Any “wisdom” will be appreciated, thank you.
