I used to ride, but that was a long time ago.

This forum is new to me as well and I am preparing to get a used 911, likely a 2002 or 2003 Cabriolet. You have some Porsche experience so I would appreciate your comments to my posting. I drove a 2007 911 Cabrolet for my first experience in a 911 last weekend and it was great, but I need a less expensive alternative. Please comment. Thanks.

02 and 03 are great years, I believe they just changed the body style that year with the headlights and such. 2007 is a BBIIGG jump though. I have driven some nice cars, and the porsche is the god of them all. Its a classy car no matter which one you choose to get. People respect porsche as well. Ya you can get faster cars, but probably not too much better handling. EXCEPT!! you need to get use to the engine being in the rear!!! I actually was in a pretty crazy accident in my 91a few months ago. I came around a corner and the back end got a little light. Slide out.. etc.. was one scary *** ride thats for sure! It makes me a little nervous now taking the turns, i use to really get on it in the turns and it would get sucked right to the pavement, thats what these cars are known for!! Check out my other posting, it explains my accident a little better.

Ps.. this forum seems pretty dead! so just shoot me an email if you have any questions or just want to chat

i love cars, bike, anything that goes fast really
