I would like to say hi too as I'm new and looking foward to cruising with you guys soon. I've always wanted a Porsche and am now financially able to fullfill that dream. I love sports cars and some years ago had a 350Z (everybody kept asking if it was a Porsche). After a couple years in the Z club I decided to get a 99 Vette so I could start hanging around people my own age. I still have the Vette in Florida. I've been thinking about owning something unique and fun to drive here (Charles Town, WV) and like the older wide bodied 911s. How would I go about seeing what they're worth and issues that are common to them? The 1970 to 1988 seem almost identical and I've had my eye on a couple 1984s in the area, probably some of your fellow members cars.

Thanks for any feedback and enjoy the drive-in this weekend. We did that in the Vette Club a few years ago. Don't remember much of the movie, good times for sure.

Hi John,

just like to start with a question: Why you are not going for a 964 with Servo and ABS?

Don't know. Is this 964 a wide body? This is why I joined. Looking for the perfect car.

Thanks!

The wide body version just started in 1995 (993 4s).

I was looking at 1984 and 1988 with factory Turbo body coupe (option M491) and around 72K. Not knowing what that meant, I came to you guys.

Thanks!

Have not notice the "M491" option before. Good luck to find one!
