What does N/A stand for? Welcome onboard. I just got my 2006 Boxster S last week, so I know how do you feel to own a Porsche!

Hi and welcome to the forum. A 944 for your first car eh? You're a lucky guy! Got any pic's?

N/A stands for normally aspirated. (Not sure if that's spelt right?) Basically, it's not a turbo.

aspiration stands for breathing, n/a cars run on negative pressure or vacuum, a turbo or supercharged car is called forced induction.
