Default Im the new guy here

Hey everyone , Yes Im a new porsche owner , This is my first one , I have had a few ferrari's in the past but were not worth the effort to keep them running well.
I bought a porsche 924S , 1987 with 52,000 miles , looks real nice , has been sitting for awhile and came with a porsche body kit. I need to work on the coolant system , as there is no heat and boils over at the moment , I belive it to be the stat but I will get around to looking at this this weekend.
Hope this is a current busy forum and hope to meet some good peeps on here.

Tommy G.

Welcome. Hope you like your 924S. They are an oldie but goodie.

What type of Ferrari's did you have? Only a couple that "aren't worth the trouble to keep running come to mind (the 4-seat 408 of years ago and some early 60's three carb GTs). Most are good cars and worth keeping in good shape just because of what you can get when you sell them.

Thanks for the welcome.
I had a few 308 and recently an F430 , the upkeep was just to much for me and not to mention the tune ups cost almost as much as the car after a few years , but this porsche looks like fun and seems to handel very well from what im reading.
