Default Just picked up an '04 911 Carrera Cabriolet [Pictures]

Hey all,

Nice resource here, glad to be part of the site. I'm from the Cape Cod, Massachusetts area and just picked up on Friday a certified preowned 2004 911 Carrera Cabriolet with just 37,000 miles. Posted a few pictures below. I don't have a garage, so I keep the car at a storage facility and my daily driver is an '06 BMW 325i.

I'm not very knowledgeable or confident when it comes to working with cars, but I would be interested in doing some simple things to make the engine sound even better.

Does anyone have any recommendations on what I could do to beef up the engine noise and would I be able to have a Porsche dealership install them for me? It's under certified preowned warranty for about another 13,000 miles so I'm not sure if that would void my warranty or anything modifying the car.

Thanks again.

Welcome. I had an '04 for three years and a bit and it gave no problems. Hope you have good luck too.

You kind find gobs of aftermarket exhausts from loud to way to loud just with a little reserach on the Internet or by looking in any Porsche directed magazine in the car section at, say, a Barnes and Noble. Fabspeed, etc., make them.

Probably someone will give you advice on which they thinks is best. Me - I generally leave a car pretty much stock.
