Which is the most appealing Porsche 911?
Hi There,
I'm new to this particular corner of the web and was curious to know what peoples personal favourites are amongst the 911 family.
Personally, as you can see from my handle, I hanker after a 1972 911S, Targa, black. The main reasons being the great performance of the car for it's time, 0-60 6.0 secs, quarter mile 14.4 secs and top speed 145mph.
On the styling front the clean lines, lack of flared arches, classic touches of chrome to the windows, bumpers, lights, Fuchs wheels etc. Anyone who has seen the movie Le Mans will know what I mean, even though it was probably a 1970 car in the film itself.
So, I'm interested to hear what other people find appealing about their favourite/own/ultimate 911. Whether it be from a styling, performance, handling, rarity point of view. Maybe include a photo with your post so others may enjoy your own particular passion. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

PS Sadly I could only find a 1971T in dark blue, but you get the idea.
