New member with two questions...
Hello everyone - I just joined the forum. I have 2 questions for the group...
1) I am considering buying a 993 or a 996. I understand that the 993 is more of the classic Porsche (hand built, classic shape, etc...), while the 996 is the first model to truly adopt the Japanese method of car manufacturing (robots, automation, more creature comforts). What are people's experiences with either of these models? Pros? Cons?
2) On an unrelated subject, I recently built a website to help address question #1 - a site that allows users to post the actual sale prices of cars they have bought and sold. When I was looking at Porsche prices, the only way I could get a gauge of prices was by looking at the classifieds or by looking at KBB or Edmunds. The site itself is a couple of weeks old - I was hoping that some of you could provide feedback on the good, the bad, and the ugly. Here is the link that has 911 actual sales prices:
http://www.pricehub.com/price/Porsche/911
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Ultimately, I jus want to know if this information is helpful for Porsche enthusiasts.
Thanks in advance for your help!
