Good morning,

I am contemplating to acquire an early 90's 911 Carrera, I do not have any particular car in mind yet. I am hoping the forum member can steer me to the right direction; What to look for even before I take it to PPI, price range, maintenance issues to watch for on certain models etc. I will start going through the links on this forum to educate myself on this topic. Look forward hearing from all you. Many thanks

993's are good cars and hold their value well (so far) but of course they have held their value well and so they cost a bit more.

Regardless of model, buy one in good condition, with maintenance records, and a good PPI. Worth paying for it: nothing is more expensive than a low-priced used Porsche.
