I'm becoming a 911 owner shortly and am looking for some leads.
(Currently a 914 and Boxster owner). The '77 911 targa is a non op currently (from Calif) and after some work I'll need an engine and transmission. I'm looking for leads on where to get a transmission and a 2.7 or 3.0L (operating or not) (will need a core engine for a rebuild).
NExt is who have you used to rebuild it professionally.

 

Whatever you do, stay away from motormeister. I would either hit ebay or some of the parts dismantlers for core engines. DC automotive, oklahoma foreign, parts heaven, etc.
