Default "possible" Newbie questions

Hello,

My brother said that a friend is offering a 1974 porsche for free "just get it out of my driveway" but all i know is that is is a 1974 porsche and that the guy had engine trouble, took out the engine and now he doesn't want it. maybe neeeds a new engine!!

my question is, is it worth it getting a porsche with engine in parts??

the thing is, we have to pick it out by this weekend if we want it.

please let me know any concerns, ideas you may have to help me with this!!!

by the way, is there a good mechanic that can do a good job with the porsche engine in southern california???

it will be much appreciated.

thanks

It is not a good deal to have parts of Engine in discrete parts .This might not be a useful deal for you
