Coolant and Engine Temp Warning LIght
Hi,
I'm new to the forum and a new Porsche owner. I just purchased a 2000 911 C2 Cab a couple of months agoand it's in great shape. Yesterday, I took it for a drive, however, and after about 45 min, the overheat red light started to flash, but the temperature remained at 180. I immediately pulled into my garage and later checked the coolant, and the levels were fine. Any suggestions? Also, which coolant can I put into my car?
Thanks!
Kabir

RE: Coolant and Engine Temp Warning LIght
Your coolant level sensor is probably shot if there was coolant in the bottle. The flashing light is typically due to coolant level, and not temperature.
