Default Just bought an old Porche

Hi there, New guy here. I'm a long time BMW enthusiast but have never owned a Porsche until about two hours ago. I've restored my 1972 BMW 2002 to show quality but know next to nothing about my newly purchased 1967 911. I've heard lots on how classic 911's are shooting up in value and took a chance on this one. A CA rust free car that is in amazingly good condition for a car of this vintage. I want to redo most of the interior but not much else is in dire need. It runs very strong and the previous owner took great care of the car but hardly drove it. He's in his mid 70's, recently retired and needed the money for home repair. I struck a deal of $22,000. Did I do good? it looks like it, according to Haggerty value (I looked it up after the purchase), but I'd like to hear from you real experts. Thanks, looking forward to gaining knowledge here on my new to me sports car!
