Default 2003 996TT upgrade questions

Time has finally come to get rid of the 01 C2 and move to a turbo. So, I found a mint 2003 TT with 17K miles. Only problem is, there are a couple options I wanted it doesn't have. For instance, I would like the billet pedals and it has the standard black ones. I would also like the white guages.

But, I would prefer to stick with OEM Porshche parts. Anyone know of good places for these things or should I leave it alone?

Also, are there any other modifications I should make to the performance side that are a must?

Billet pedals and gauge faces are easy to get and install. IMHO there is no need to stick with OEM, you won't ever know the difference, especially with the gauge faces. NRauto sells white faces, and there are a lot of different pedal options. I prefer the ones here: http://www.maxspeed-motorsports.com/pedals.html I have installed TONS of these, and they are a very nice pedal. Same thing as places like EvoMS sells and etches their logo in, etc.

The only other thing I would recommend would be a GIAC ecu flash, but you may want to get use to the stock power of the turbo before you go adding another 75hp.

Thanks, I knew you would come through with the answers. Does, easy to install mean I could do it myself if I am halfway mechanically coordinated?

Also, what about the door sills, mine has the black ones and I wanted the brushed aluminum ones. Any doos places for them and are they easy to install?

Lastly, as faras the ECU, about how much does that run? And,would it void an extended warranty?

thanks again,

tim

porschedoc - I have a 2001 911 tt as well, but with only 5k miles and have though about the ecu upgrade, but I have read two things that concern me:
1- should upgrade exhaust at the same time. more fuel, more exhaust, better performance..I understand that, but I don't want it loud and irritating - suggestions?
2 - can the transmission/driveline handle the extra power?

thanks
