Default 930 Questions

I want to pick up a 930 Turbo. Problem is, I'm not too educated on these cars. I am hoping you guys can point me in the right direction. I know what I don't want: slant nose, Targa, convertable, big *** brake ducts behind the doors, etc.. just a decent straight up 930. What are the good years / years to stay away from? What do you check for when you look at the car? Are there any mods to avoid? Any mods that are a plus? Any major "red flag" items that should make me run away from a particular car? Any information you could give would be a big help.

I could write you a book answering all the questions, but don't have anywhere near the time. Best advice I can give you, is to find one you like, then get a pre purchase inspection from an independant shop that knows 930's (The dealer will not know anything about 930's anymore, so steer clear). 89 had the 5 speed G-50 transaxle.
