Default Brake Dust Solution

I have to clean the rims on my 911 after almost every ride and i'm looking for something that keeps brake dust from sticking and caking. Does anyone have a product that works for them. My local dealership swears by this stuff called Rim-Ice. Has anyone ever used it?

I wonder how that Rim Ice stuff can be a non-stick coating that doesn't degrade your braking performance when it gets on the rotor?

Or do you have to take your wheels off to apply it? That would create more work and defeat the purpose...

Default Your question about rim-ice

you spray the stuff directly onto your rims and apparently it keeps brake dust from wanting to accumulate on them. It leaves a slick surface on the rim. The guys at the dealership said it also has an effect on the natural static charge in your rims that occurs from the rubber in tires rotating along the road which attracts the dust as well. I've tried the stuff out for a week or so now and it seems to be working well. Just as good as other products i've dabbled with.
