I was wondering if this has happened to anyone´s 996 here.



I´ve added to the fluid reservour for the motor
..tried opening and closing all doors, boot & trunk.
Used the door opening/closing and switch ..

It always stops just there and refuses to close completely

What's the dealer saying about it?

 

Wish I could be of help, but I steer clear of the convertible tops after dealing with a few boxster tops.

 

I haven´t asked them yet, I´m going there tomorrow to program an extra key, I will ask them to check the computer for fault codes.. Hope for the best..

The dealership didn´t have any time to work on it, however I tapped a few things back there, tried to nudge all the moving parts. And finally it worked out fine.

I´ve had some of the silliest problems with it, it´s kind of a love and hate relationship
