Default Exhaust upgrade

Should I go with the Racing cats with muffler bypass or the full exhaust upgrade? What are the disadvantages and advantages of both? [/align]

You do not want to do muffler bypasses if you enjoy your hearing. It is extremely loud, and doesn't even sound all that great. I would do a Fabspeed moderate generation 3 muffler with sport cats. A nice compromise, no drone (like the old gen 2 fabspeed), and a nice deep sound to it.

Doc, I am currently running a Greddy Titanium Exhaust on my EVO9 without the siliencer. Will the racing cats be much louder? As I am unable to pass by Fabspeed and am visiting Evolution Motorsports, do you recommend the Milltek exhaust?

I have used milltek exhausts in the past, and they are a good quality exhaust, but more money than the fabspeed. I would rate the sound level as very similar to maybe a hair quieter. I know Todd doesn't sell much Fabspeed stuff anymore to my knowledge, so he pushes the milltek stuff.

Racing cats on a muffler system aren't going to be that much louder. Racing cats with straight pipes (no muffler), will be very loud.
