G50 5 speed became an option in the 930 in 89. Before that was the 4 speed tranny. They can handle most any power you throw at them in a 930 that is still driveable. We shove cars out the door regularily with 500-600hp at the crank, and the G50 has had no problems. Most will tell you in a 930, over 600hp is not really driveable on the street.
