Question Help making the RIGHT purchase...

I am looking to spend around 40 -45k for either a C4, C4S, or a Twin Turbo. Of course the higher end model with be slightly older with more miles (Turbo's I have seen 2000-2002 with about 40-55k miles) (C4 and C4S I have seen 2002-2004 with around 25-40k miles) Of course there are also the C2's that are a little newer and less miles in that same 40-45k price range. Again, these are typically asking prices and we all know that the economy has allowed some great purchases on these otherwise expensive machines Great timing if you ask me!

I love the look of the GT3, probably like everyone else, but I have found myself gravitating to a car that already has aftermarket suspension, exhaust, body kits, etc. From what I hear and know, this typically is not something to look for when making a secondary purchase as you don't know who installed it, etc. With this in mind, we all know that owning a Porsche can be expensive and I am really trying to minimize my outbound cash for up keep. Does this mean I should stay away from the TT as they cost more to repair? I have also read that all the 996 models have had their issues as well.

Any help here would be great! Again, looking to spend about 40-45k, of course something back of that would be great!

I have attached a few links to a couple of cars that I have looked at as well. Any feed back would be much appreciated!
