Anyone have any idea how common this interior color is? I bought one and my mech. says he has never seen one before. Looked at several registries and saw a black one with Lobster Red and an Alpine White one with Lobster Red--both SCs. Seems my mech may be right, even though silver/red has been a popular Porsche color combo going back to 550 Spyders. A Local Porsche dealership sales manager and several mechs have told me they have never seen one like this either and that I have a really rare combo. Would appreciate the thoughts of long time Porschephiles (even tho the info I have gathered so far indicates it is rare)

 

The lobster red interior is pretty rare alone, let alone the exterior color. People either love the red interior, or they absolutely hate it. I for one think it is awesome.

 

Fully agree my wifes SL(Sorry!) is silver with Cherry Red Interior. Fantastic combination.
