Default Lowering 996

Thinking about lowering my 2000 996, and suggestions on which way to go Eibach, or H&R springs. Im sure this question has been asked numerous times, but I could not find anything in the forum. Thanks for any advice.

We have done quite a bit with H&R, eibach, and JIC. If you just want lowering springs, using your stock struts, then there is nothing wrong with H&R's, they are a good spring. We have also installed some techarts (which ironically say eibach on them), which turned out very good as well. We go with JIC when we do an entire strut/lowering assembly, which of course is a lot more money than just buying springs.

Anybody know where to get H&R spring in ORANGE COUNTY CA?

Also, is there a DIY Installation Guide on the 1999 CS 996?

Thank You,
Paul

You can order them from Tire rack and have them shipped. Good prices.

I understand why we lower our cars. I would always ask anyone intending to do so, if they have considered the impact of domestic usage as well as tracking.
Personally I struggle at time with speed humps, driveway entrances, and ferry tie down floor bollards. etc.
So be sure about your normal day to day needs and environment before taking the plunge(Pardon the pun!)
