NEED HELP ON A 993 PURSCHASE
Just getting out of a 2005 6-series because i am not a daily driver anymore and cant see this car lose any more value sitting in my garage.
I chose a 993 for the perfect weekend car to have around and not fell bad about using it occasionally. so i have been serching over the past 2 weeks and came up with these 2 choices.
Shound i Grab one or hold on for something else.
1) 97 blk/blk C2S just under 60K mi for 46K , this car is manual, sport seats is only option i am aware of. and car comes with full service papers and also just has a recent service (4 owner car).
2) 96 C4 (NOT S) Blk/ Blk manual 65K mi for 34K. this car is great looking (painted fender but looks OK),but there is no service history at all and had 4 previous owners. should i be worried about this car?
If it passed a PPI should i go ahead and disregard service history?
I really would rather the C2S but i's like topocket some cash in the trade for my 6-series.
What will be my better choice for now; and along down the road for resale.
Thanks in advance.

RE: NEED HELP ON A 993 PURSCHASE
i am new to this forum myself... it seems like prices can be all over the map. i'm casually looking at a 993 myself - i've seen coupes priced in the mid-20's with 60k+ miles or into the 30's with lower mileage. i hear you about pocketing the extra cash too. if you are interested, i built and launched this website last week to specifically help with the whole choice of figuring out how much to pay for a car. here are some recent, actual sales prices of some 993's and 996's. hope this can be helpful:
