Default New Here Question

Can anyone tell me what the red "retro fitting Hose" is bypassing. I am still learning these cars and am interested in a this car. I'm just trying to do my homework before buying. Pardon me if it is a stupid question but you have to learn somehow.

It isn't bypassing anything, it is a fabspeed air intake hose.
