Default Newbie Needs Assistance Finding a Nice 911

Hi Folks, After independently searching for about 2 months I have decided I need some guidance from experienced Porsche owners. I am a 62 year old retired Army Colonel and been driving BMWs since the late 70's. Have always wanted a 911 and am now at the point where I can afford one and will be retiring completely in about a year so I will have time to enjoy the car as I won't be making a daily commute to work. I am zeroing in on a 2005-07 model Carrera Cabriolet. I would like to find one with a hardtop so that I can enjoy the car all year. I will probably have to buy a used hardtop and have it painted as it is hard to find a car that is being sold with the hardtop. I suspect most folks keep it and sell it privately. A C2 would be fine but a C4 would be ideal. The only color I don't want is black as I have had 3 black cars in the last 10 years. Would like to find a car with something other than black interior and prefer tan or saddle. The ideal car would be a white/saddle or a dark blue/saddle C4. Would prefer a 6 speed manual but I'm OK with a Tiptronic as I have a late model Z4 with a 6 speed manual. I live in western MD, Hagerstown but am willing to go as far as the midwest to find the right car. I'm in no particular hurry but thought the fall and winter might be a good time to try to find a good deal on a Cabrio. Would appreciate any guidance or leads. Feel free to email me at: rmorin49ATgmail.com. I currently watching 2 cars; an 06 dark blue/tan C2 with 6 speed and an 06 with what I think is Seal Gray/Black C2 with Tiptronic. Both are in PA and priced in the mid $40s and both with less than 25K miles. Thanks very much.
