Default oil failure warning - 03, 911 coupe

anyone ever get the oil failure warning? it has happened twice in the past two months. i've checked the oil levels each time and it's fine. the car performs as always. it happened again yesterday and the oil pressure gauge went to 0. i pulled over, checked the oil level which was fine and then restarted the car and everything was back to normal.

The oil pressure gauge does not have anything to do with your oil level. 0 oil pressure on the gauge is catastrophic if the reading is true. Is the engine making any abnormal noises when this happens? Hopefully it is just a bad connection at the sensor, or the sensor itself.

The engine performed as usual. I was on the highway when it occured and there was no change in performace at all. Someone else on another forum mentioned he had the same issue and that he changed the MAF sensor and that sorted the problem out. Not sure if i should start changing parts in hopes of figuring out what the issue is.

Unfortunetly the Maf sensor is in no way tied to the oil pressure sendor.
