RE: porsche doc is right...
Yeah, its all fun and it is amazing who and how they love cars. At a recent car show, I spent a long time talking with a husband and wife who had restored a 1967 Mustang - the base six cylinder (I think just 200 cubic inches), three speedmanual transmission, doggie-bowl hubcap model with cloth seats and just a plain radio, etc. -- only real option was AC. It looked brand new -- just perfect --and in a world where every "restored" Mustang has a V8 (often a f.i. 302)and 4 speed, etc., it was a breath of fresh air As they said, they wanted something rare, but on a budget, and of course you see V8 Mustangs everywhere, but"Have you ever seen one of these?"they asked. I had to admit, not in 30 years.
They were lovely people, too, and it was a fun half hour.

Actually I think it’s great, aside from the name calling, to see someone with a great passion for his/her particular car… If everyone had this there would be a lot less people trying to take the older cars off the road.. My $.02

I too have many cars I have enjoyed for different reasons, and I am protective towards Porsche. However I think we Porsche owners should now take the moral high ground, and set the example by no more name callingetc of BMW Owners or their cars.
Lets just be adults as we know the truth so what do we haveto fear from BMW.
