Default Porsche mechanic in Albany NY area for a PPI

Hello all. I am considering a purchase of a 99 911 in the Albany NY area. I would like to have a PPI done. The vehicle has 45k miles and appears to be in very good condition.

Can anyone recommend a mechanic to me?

Thanks in advance.

Dan

Default mechanic 911

stay away from the dealership, my last visit they said i needed a water pump, clutch, and a catalytic converter... all bul****.. i needed 93 octane fuel.. no crap i ran 2000 miles of 87 cause im stupid.. dash lights on. rough idle, sounded like hell no power.... put in 93 4 miles later all good... odd huh?... find any asi certified mechanic.. that works foreign, or small car, midas will do muffler, cat work, and amazon has any part known to man and god.." he drives a 911 too" i look at a lot of stuff so holler i may have a web site for you, i bought a 02 911 gt3 60,000 miles.. gave 38,000.0 and i still grin after 4 months of driving it....d

Stay away from them to do the PPI or them as the vehicle seller? I was not planning on using them to do the PPI but if you are advising to stay away from them as the seller, I appreciate the input.

Default avoid like the plauge

they mean well but to their advantage.. i found all the parts on line.. and any ansi cert mechanic is authorized by my warrenty.. oh speaking of.. a bumper to bumper is not as it sounds.. clutch not covered.. catayltic not covered.. ****ing weasels... read it first .. then read it again.. then argue each point.. i paid 5k outright for it and it really doesnt cover anything that breaks.. the cats are part of the engine it wont run without them the clutch is drivetrain again it wont run.. but they reclass everything so they pay out little..and tow mine covers up 100.0 **** it cost 200 to get it 30 miles for me cant use a tow ..flatbed only.. just try your best..
