I'm considering buying a 996 from a private party. Where can I get a good prepurchase inspection for a 996, turbo and non-turbo, in the vicinity of LAX? I've called Downtown Porsche in LA and was told they don't do inspections. Tomorrow I'm calling Pacific Porsche in Torrance. I'd like to include a cylinder leak down test as part of the inspection, although understanding the difficulty of changing spark plugs I wonder if this is realistic.
