Default Smell Burnt Oil After Running

Anyone have any ideas of common things in a Porsche 911 1999 that would make the car smell like burnt oil after it is running for a while?

Well, could be a possible oil leak. Typically it would be the rear main seal leaking backwards on the exhaust. It would have to be a substantial leak though, and would leak oil on your driveway when parked for any length of time.

In general, the cars typically have a bit of a "hot" smell after being run for awhile.

Thanks it is not leaking on the driveway. I just got the car and didn't notice the smell because it was windy. It stands out more when it is in the garage. I did a little clean up of the engine the other day and did notice any excessive oil.
