My 87 targa has been running great until recently. The engine stopped while driving, but started quickly. This has happened several times, now the engine will not start. The fuel pump seems to be working because I can smell the fuel. Any suggestions as to what may be this problem?

 

My 87 targa has been running great until recently. The engine stopped while driving but started quickly. This has happened several times, now it will not start. The fuel pump seems to be working as I can smell fuel when attempting to crank. Any ideas as to what may be the problem?

 

Replace your DME relay. Responded in the other post.
