I finally met a lifelong goal of buying a 88, 911 Targa but it didn't come off without a hitch.
The car had 38000 miles and was a one owner car with all inspections done. Due to sitting around too much the Trans seal is leaking. I got a quote for the the trans seal from a mechanic for minmum $3500 to $5000. Does this sound about right? PLease advise..as we say in the military I am green in this area! Thanks in advance
