Default turbo coupe or cabriolet?

I'm looking to buy a 2009 Porsche 997 Turbo but I don't know if I should get the coupe or convertible. I'm going to get it in carrera white and get black rims put on it. What should I do? The coupe looks better I think but the convertible would be more fun probably. I would like to hear some advice.

Depends on what your climate is. I live in south Florida and wouldn't even consider NOT HAVING a convertible.

Well when you remove the roof you lose a major structural element. If you plan on keeping it stock and as a cruiser go for the soft top. If you plan on building it up or putting it on a track you will be better served with the hard top.

I have a hard top and have found that the sun roof provides a very open feeling and actually blows you around more than any other sun roof equipped car I have driven

As far as the 2009 model goes. You have almost no changes between the 2008 to 2009 turbo, but next year 2010 the Turbo is getting all the tweaks of the 2009 911 line up and the PDK if that appeals to you.
