Default upper stearing column bearing replacement

Im planning to replace the upper stearing column bearing this week on my 1975 2.7 911. Im doing it the proper long haul way.

My question is: once you ahve the stearing column assembly out of the car, how do you remove the top bearing from the essembly?

Cheers

Curious why you are replacing the upper bearing? Do you have play in the steering wheel? If so, it is more likely the bushing is shot and not the bearing. You can easily use the $10 bushing and install it from the top in about 10 minutes and it will last the life of the car.
