Default Woo hoo... just ordered my custom 2009 911 S

Thought I'd share with you all... Just ordered the 911 S in white, two-tone black terracoda leather, pdk, sports chrono and a bunch of other stuff... Only unfortunate thing is that the early Dec build won't be here until late Jan... It will be a tough Xmas waiting for it. It is the raining season in Bay Area these few months... that's the only consolation here.

Very excited!

Good deal. The wait will make it all the sweeter when it arrives, though.

Hey, congratulations. Clearly a beautiful car (I live in the Bay Area and drive a 2005 Carrera S). Mine's a cab, yours?
Dunno if you're a newbie with Carrera's, but they're just wonderful cars - 'the supercar you can drive everyday'.
In a rare moment of weakness, I took mine out in the rain yesterday (she normally stays covered in bad weather) and reminded me why, good weather or bad, top up or down, P-cars are just magnificent.
You're very fortunate. Relish the wait. It will be so worth it.
I would recommend you spend the time patrolling the web boards, gathering knowledge about the details and nuances of the car, care techniques and maybe, just maybe a few inexpensive touches that make them more personal (clear front markers are the only must-have - especially for a white car). Web sites tend to gather folks who spend a great deal modifying their cars. To each his/her own, but do learn about her in her base state before you start playing with it. It's astonishing right out of the box!

Same question, are they negotiating at all ? Best offer I have had so far is $2k off list price, and they will pay shipping to my state (another $2k) ?
