Hello,
am new to forum tonight, looks like an excellent place for some advice.
have owned my '79 924 for 11+ years. I have done some web surfing,
but haven't found the info i seek...

(1) drivers (outside) mirror glass is loose from the inner bracket in the housing,
how to i access where i need to tighten behind it ?

(2) i know i saw somewhere how to use a GM style alternator bracket to replace
the 'joke' that is the stock alternator mount, is anyone familiar with this?

(3) are 924's known to have difficulty with exhaust manifold leaks,
and are there any 'tricks' to tighten it up in this extremely hard to access area?

any and all suggestions would be extremely appreciated !!!
