if i were to purchase a 924, what types of upgrades would you guys recommend??? im thinking of buying one for around 3-4K and putting about 3K into it. You guys can list anything and everything from computer chips to exhaust... (are there computer chips for an older 924??)

 

Not much you can do for performance on a 924 in regards to power. Best thing you could do would be to upgrade the suspension, and get the maintenance up to date.

 

if you go for a 24s ,older ones detuned as actually out perform 944 , later i.e 87,88 same as 944 160 bhp and can be chipped or go for turbo series one 170 bhp ,series two smaller turbo hence quicker responce 177 bhp as standard and lots to mess with .have both and serious fun hope this helps

 

if the car is a 2.0L and the price is too good to pass up, then i suggest a cam and maybe some carbs. i have heard that the intake is the biggest restriction on these engines.
