PLEASE HELP.
PLEASE HELP.
On the aluminum lug nuts, typically I take a 12 point deep well socket and pound it with a large hammer so it digs into the aluminum socket. Then using a long breaker bar, remove the lug nut. It will not work using an air impact gun, you must use the breaker bar and put slow pressure to it.
Hmm...same problem here!! what happens if the lug is so "gone" that it's almost flush with the wheel? I tried the "smaller socket" bit, but there was so little left, that the socket just shredded it. Should i drill it out a little bit a time? i'm completely stuck here. The tire needs to be removed to replace a wheel bearing and front brakes. Otherwise, the car is undrivable.
I'm actually amazed that porsche would use such light weight, seeminly weak lugs.Am i missing something? is it bad to use steel lugswithfuchs wheels?
