Default flywheel timing sensor

reviewing the 1985 euro 928 s and inspection showed the flywheel timing sensor connector completly destroyed. after cutting the male ends off i noticed what started as a blue red black wiring ended up with a yellow and black wire .
what is going on ? there were two little black wires that pulled right out of the sheathing
i assume they were the blue?
what does it really need to work. the female end is creme red and black
thanks for your help.

Default RE: flywheel timing sensor

Boy, I just don't know the wiring of a 928 unfortunately. Hopefully someone here has some experience. There are also some decent 928 boards out there that might have some knowledge. I would try over on rennlist and see if they have some info.
