Does anyone know if the sunroof latches, latch hinges, and rear sunroof receivers from a 951 s2 will also fit on my 84 n/a? Both are powered sunroofs. My sunroof likes to lift off during speeds over 60 mph and I'm looking at buying the above mentioned parts from someone, but they did not post the year of the s2 and when asked they didn't know if they would fit my vehicle.

Latches,hinges and rear receivers are the same on all powered 944 sun roofs. The differences are the motors and the cable drive systems,it changed in mid 1986 ! Be careful buying used rear sunroof receivers, they may look ok but the piece inside that the arm hooks into is usually broken and the roof will still fly off!!! Any questions give me a shout!
