Question 944 N/A to Turbo Conversion

Hey guys! I have a 1986 944 N/A in very good condition but I want to swap the front bumper cover on it to the Turbo edition. I like the way it looks but I was told that it's not an easy swap to do. Can anyone let me know exactly what parts I would need to acquire before I could do this? I was told that I would need the Turbo bumper, Turbo front fenders and header panel, possibly the hood!! I already know that I will need the lights as well. Has anyone out there done this already? (I'm sure someone has). If so, please give me some insight.

Thanks,
Subzero

There are a couple ways to do it. The proper way would be to swap the front fenders, bumper cover, header panel, headlight covers and aluminum supports to the new car. You do not need the hood.

The other way, is to swap the bumper cover, header panel, and headlight covers, and modify the stock NA fenders to accommodate the new bumper cover. It is just one corner you have to cut and modify to make the cover fit. Quite a few guys have done it successfully. Obviously though, that will take some more effort than just bolt on and go.
